One adventure after another in Lanaudière

Outdoor Activities in Lanaudiere

Welcome to Lanaudière’s outdoor activities Website!

Lanaudière is an important region in the province of Quebec, situated less than an hour’s drive from Montreal. Bordered in the south by the St. Lawrence River, Lanaudière extends to the Laurentian Mountains in the north, with many magnificent landscapes in between. The total area of the region is 13,537 sq. km. – a vast playground for enthusiasts of nature, sports and the great outdoors, all within easy reach of Greater Montreal.

Lanaudière is known as “the green region” and it’s easy to see why: within its borders lie two-thirds of Mont-Tremblant National Park, the Îles de Berthier (part of the Lac Saint-Pierre World Biosphere Reserve) and seven regional parks! You’ll also find that every kind of outdoor sport and activity is available in this region. Whether you’re planning a cottage vacation, camping trip, boating, canoeing, or looking for a spa or luxury resort on the shores of a lake… the opportunities abound in our region.

It’s always a great time to enjoy the air in Lanaudière!
